Course Profile

Shannon Lake Golf Club, playing amongst towering pines and moderate elevation changes, is a true test to golfers of all abilities. The signature 17th, a long risk/reward par 4, plays alongside beautiful Shannon Lake. For après golf, Agostino's Restaurant serves up Italian cuisine and casual pub fare in the second level of the clubhouse. Dramatic views across Shannon Lake are plentiful from both the inside dining area and the patio.

Course Reviews

Played Friday afternoon with my sister Jane (up for a visit from the coast) The weather was spectacular, rain stopped 10 minutes before we started, course is in great shape, and greens very very good. Played well again with a 76, another game best for me at Shannon. Hole 17 must be one of the prettiest holes in the valley. Shannon Lake hugging the right side from tee-box to green. Watch for turtles in the ponds. Hole 18 typically can play hard for me, but not this day. Good tee-shot which left me in the middle of the fairway, about 175 yards up hill to a blue flag, a debated on club selection, choose my 5 iron. It felt good, at first i though it could be short and catch the darn bunker front. Nope - hit the green and as i approached, a gem, just 16" from the pin, birdie finish. Yeah! It was fun to get a couple of games in with my sister as i do not see her too often, she enjoy the week, the wine tours too :)
